Welcome statement
Welcome to Our Father’s House ministry, a place where faith meets with recovery on a transformative journey.
Embracing the 12 steps, we bridge the gap between the church and recovery fellowships, guiding addicts towards a profound, life changing relationship with Jesus.
We are a welcoming and Bible believing community.
We invite you to discover healing, redemption, and a life full of meaning and purpose, through a relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through His Spirit and Word, and the work of the 12 steps.
We are here to support addicts in every step of their recovery process.
Come as you are!
THE REMINDER
In the Narcotics Anonymous Basic Text, we are reminded not to get carried away by a cloud of religious zeal, as addiction remains a constant challenge.
We have witnesed individuals leave the recovery rooms and face relapse.
Those who make meetings, regardless of faith or lack thereof, find stable recovery, while others, despite accepting Christ , struggle to be truly free from their addiction. They are incapable of having a substantial amount of clean time as they stop making meetings.
At Our Father’s House, we urge members to stay connected to 12 step fellowships, grounding themselves in the shared battle against addiction.
Our ministry roots itself in these steps, considered divine guidance for life. Keep returninhg to church and your anonymous felowship for support.
Keep coming back!

SUPPORT AVAILABLE
“Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” James 1:22 (NIV)
why we offer support
We believe we are called for more than just preaching/teaching about God, but also to apply what it teaches by loving our neighbours as ourselves as Jesus has taught us.
The ways we choose to be the hands of Christ and to be a source of support and love for those in recovery or still suffering from addiction is by:
Food Bank - By offering food for those in recovery who are struggling financially.
Bus pass support - We believe making as many meetings as possible in the start of your recovery is vital, but we are aware it’s costly and some have no way of affording it.
Free recovery literature - If you are wanting to buy literature from fellowships such as AA, NA and CA, but can not genuinely afford, we are here for you.
Conditions apply.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT
All of us at Our Father’s House are people affected directly or indirectly by addiction.
We are members of 12 step fellowships, such as Narcotics Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous.
We do not intend to be a substitution to 12 steps programmes or to the wider church, we see ourselves as a bridge between the two. We are here to introduce those in recovery or still addicted into a relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to continue attending the program where you have found recovery, to work the 12 steps program and to also join a home church where you can be in community with other Christians in order to be discipled and grow spiritually.
Our prayers and hope is that we will be a place where you can find others like you, and introduce you to faith in a way you can relate, and in a place where you can feel fully welcomed and not judged.
The same way we have found freedom from active addiction and joy and hope through the 12 steps and a relationship with Christ, we know and trust that you too, will find it.
You are loved!
